he had thought about snow but he hadn't the heart
and to close all the schools just didn't seem right
for chaos occurs when it snows over night!
What about wet snow, weather went on
that's something a little bit different
with wet snow I can make it a little more warm
and there's less pandemonium than a full-on snow storm!
Ah, but wait - the weather paused
there'll be no snow for snowball fights
nor frozen fingers and dripping noses
they'll miss out on all the wintery thrills
like sledging down those wintery hills!
I've got to do something the weather went on
I have to get rid of this burden I'm carrying
It's really difficult carrying all this rain
it's backbreaking work - but I shouldn't complain
But now in a fluster, the weather got cross
he stomped up and down going off in a strop
he really wasn't sure what weather to apply
which made him so angry he felt a tear in his eye!
So he marched to his cupboard where the weather was kept
and flung open the cupboard doors in a huff
he emptied the cupboard and rummage around
then he let mankind have, everything he found!
So...
it rained whilst the sun shone
the clouds were black as night
there were blue skies in places
lightening flashed down from a height
a rainbow appeared high in the sky
so at least the world looked pretty
as it brightened some of the darkest clouds
above the streets of the city
The wind with great force blew the snow around
whilst adding some rain to the mix
the warm sun shone and dried up the ground
quite a problem for mankind to fix!
Everything happened all in one day - the moral I guess must be said:
Don't anger the weather and make him cross
for you won't know
what weather
you'll be fed!
