Very (My Very Very Loo)

I smelt the very man's presence
with my very own nose
the aftershave he'd so very heavily applied.
With his very own hands
across his very own body
...so liberally spread
it couldn't be denied!

The very sound of his breathing
from his very own lungs
noisily escaping through his very nasel hair
that itself was escaping
from the very same nostrels
so many; and so lengthy,
it was hard not stare!

I saw the very man with my very own eyes.
I heard his very voice
with my very own ears.
He sounded very distressed
and his words were lightly spoken
but my brain understood it - it appears.

It seems the very man had been very very unlucky
on the very lengthy journey he had planned for that day.
He somehow got very muddled
and spilt his very hot coffee
over his very very lap
along his very very way!

I thought it very odd that this very red faced chap
on a very lengthy journey would have suffered in this way
and that this very unfortunate chap should have happened there upon me
without so very very much to say!

It seems the very incident was merely the beginning
setting a chain reaction into play.
The very smell that lead the way
was the perfume of his wife
and the reason he was wearing it
he would very soon portray

With some very unfortunate timing
she sneezed as she applied
sending clouds of perfume his very way!
As he drove the very car
he'd became most very thirsty
and the coffee that was held
in its cup - just wouldn't stay!

Again some very bad timing
(or a very perfect storm)
perfume heading skywards in one splurge
covering him - cup released
very coffee on his lap
very car and it's occupants
both very bruised and very creased!

...and the coffee from the cup?
Soaked his very face
because the very car had hit a very tree.
Both unhurt but very - very shaken
the car very - very written off
the hapless two were very - very lucky if... I am not mistaken!

So; I was very shocked as the very man appeared,
smelling very sweetly - after tales of 'daring do'!
yet all that he could say was
could he have a glass of water

...and may he use my very very loo!
