What's going on?
This, here, now, everything?!
Us sat here on this rock,
spinning through space and time.
With our 'Chicken, bacon and stuffing' sandwiches
and 'Skinny Latte' coffees.
What does it all mean?
What is going on!
We get up and go to work -
and moan about it
For which we get paid -
and we moan about it.
And all the while we're spinning through space and time on a rock.
What does it mean?
I mean; what is going on!?
Are we alone - maybe, who knows!
In the dark 'soup' we call space
there must be something out there
Mustn't there?
Does any of it exist; really?
Spinning through space and time
What does it mean?
We grow up and have kids,
And they grow up - eventually
and they'll have kids,
all whilst sat on this rock,
spinning through space and time
Today, Tuesday or is it Thursday?
Who says it is!?
What is going on!?
Look, we're clever.
We have 'fan assisted ovens', 'iphones',
'The Internet of Things' - what ever that is!
'Apple Pay' and 'GPS',
which is out in the soup of space by the way so space must exist.
I mean what if we're not alone?
What if there are 'others' out there
Also with 'Pot Noodles' and 'Robot Lawn mowers'?
What does it all mean
