People and cars
and noise
with not enough air to breathe
nor space to move
to shuffle my feet
nor stop and rest
to pause and think,
relax and grow
replenish my energy
fill my belly
refresh my soul.
Deglaze my eyes.
Clear my mind.
Freshen my lungs.
Cast off this modern world!
