Even Be Me!

In the darkness everything feels alright
close your eyes - distractions go away;
the world isn't there anymore.
With ear-phones in; my inner doubt is silent -
listening to whatever the ear-phones distract it with -
any quarrels going on in my head - abate!
Snuggled up in bed, -
safe under a warm soft duvet
I can be wherever I want!
I can be on a yatch on a rolling ocean in a storm
or in a cabin; up a mountain; in the snow!

In bed,
under the duvet,
in the dark,
I can be whom so-ever I wish -
I can even be me!
