As if out of respect
the skies darkened and rain fell,
like tears from heaven.
In the shelter of the church
tear soaked hearts dressed in black,
faces mirroring the weeping skies
...paid their respects.
With their hearts and their voices
they celebrated his life
and in quiet contemplation -
said their good-byes.
