(Haiku)

Fathom the precise
moonlight. My embraced torture,
parallel spiral

(Haiku)

A journey so lived
Return or leave by moonlight,
then home timidly

(Haiku)

Dilemma: shelter
us from radical torture:
we not so precise.

Housing Estate

A housing estate -
made as if by juvenile giants.
Houses; like scattered 'play bricks',
abandoned irregularly in a field.

A housing estate -
Maybe the failed attempt at graffiti,
by visitors from a distant galaxy.
Their plan to build a sign which read "we was 'ere" before they left!

A housing estate -
Maybe the feeble offerings of a 21st century town planner to make an estate of executive houses look appealing, whilst making a profit.
Jammed in, jumbled but disjointed.
Big but 'back-to-back'...

and all different,
in the same sort of way!

Passes/Pass/Passing

Slowly the river Thames passes.
'Neath the many arches of the ancient town bridge,
the weekend captains in boats and barges pass in front of us.
Ducks, Swans, Kingfishers and Grebe's pass in between,
bobbing for meal.
Customers on the steps of the "Boat Inn" wave at the boats which pass.
"No Mouring" the sign says,
no mouring means no passing trade.

Diners pass conversation as food and drink pass their lips
and we all pass the time
